A Case-report of Wolfram Syndrome

Abstract: 
 
We describe a rare syndrome in clinical practice, comprising insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, neurogenic diabetes insipidus, optic atrophy and sensoneural deafness. A short rewiew is presented on its etiology, pathophysiology and natural course. The clinical findings, hormonal results and special investigation data of this patient are listed. The syndrome presents with its typical characteristics as well as with other endocrine disorders. Differential diagnosis and treatment are briefly discussed.
